A2B Movers HK is arranging both International and Local Moving insurance for household goods in all around the world mainly from HK to another country.

We are dealing with few local insurance companies and offshore company.

Offshore companies’ policy terms and conditions are flexible than other HK local companies. The premium rate is much competitive than other local providers e.g international movers, local insurers.

The Offshore policy is giving 60 days free storage coverage at origin place from the date of packing and another 60 days after the goods discharge from the vessel until delivery at destination place when local insurers are providing 30 days free storage coverage at origin and destination. Their premium rate is around 2.3% on the sum insured for both itemised or lumpsum basis insurance and local insurers’ premium rate from 1.8%  to 2% on sum insured. For lumpsum insurance, You must need to declare in separately those items are valued over HK$ 10k.

Valuation by itemised declaration, kindly provide replacement value for all your household goods & personal effects.

Valuation by lumpsum basis, kindly provide the container volume in CBM or CFT to get full coverage quotation.

Basis of valuation during the reimbursement:

For total loss: Declared value or market replacement value whichever is lower

For partial loss: Repair cost plus cost of replaced parts, but in all cases the amount of indemnity will not exceed the declared value of the damaged items.
